Hashberry Marijuana Seeds Information

(AKA Blueberry Hashplant)

Bred by Mandala Seeds, Hashberry is a cross between classic California Indica with the delicious Kashmir, a North Indian strain. It gained recognition when it won Strain of the Year in 2006 from High Times. It emits a slightly pungent earthy and rich aroma. It is accented by the scent of fresh berries and mint. A peppery effect can be detected as the nug is broken and burned. Hashberry is not only named after its scent and resinous buds, but is also derived from the famous neighborhood Haight-Ashbury where the breeders were given the special Californian seeds. The plants have dense and long dark green buds covered with rust-colored pistils and a coating of thick icy white trichomes.

What are the Flavor and Effects of Hashberry?

Hashberry is a flavorful concoction of a pronounced sweet and fruity flavor of berry. Its mellow cerebral high brings euphoria, giggles, happiness, and an uplifted mood. A calming body high comes next. Your mind and body will be at ease. Highly sedative, it will drift you off to sleep. It is best used as evening cannabis perfect for a lazy night at the couch or for watching movies.

What are the Medical Benefits of Hashberry?

Medically speaking, Hashberry and its therapeutic properties are greatly beneficial to those people who suffer from chronic pain, depression, insomnia, and stress. It is a potent analgesic, anxiolytic, anti-depressant, and relaxant.

Negative Effects You Can Expect from Hashberry.

Regardless of the strain, marijuana causes dehydration. Hashberry is not an exception. It can cause cottonmouth and dry itchy eyes. As a remedy, downing on a few glasses of water than the usual intake should replenish the moisture loss. Keep an eye moisturizer drop handy as well. Rarely, greening out may also occur. This is characterized by anxiety, dizzy spells and worse, paranoia. Overconsumption is to blame. Not to worry though, these effects are temporary and easily wears off. To prevent this, remember to take responsibly.

How to Grow Hashberry?

Hashberry is an easy grower. It is resistant to heat. It thrives indoors and outdoors. It does well in a warm climate as well as in cooler environments. It is susceptible to molds though so it is recommended to keep humidity levels and watering low during the last 2 weeks of flowering to prevent any mold formation. Appearance-wise, it is short and squat. Thick-framed, it is quite sturdy. You may want to prune and trim from time to time. Aside from the aesthetic purpose, doing these will allow air and light to circulate freely among lower nodes. It will also prevent mildew formation. Remember to plant the seeds in a space large enough for it to thrive freely. Feed it with the proper nutrients. This strain is a heavy absorber and may need additional supplements such as Calcium Magnesium.

Indoors, it does well with hydroponics and using the Screen of a Green training method. You can expect flowers to blossom by 8 to 10 weeks. Once mature, each square meter of Hashberry can yield 14 to 18 ounces of buds. Outdoors, harvest comes by the second or third week of October. An abundant 30 to 36 ounces of fresh buds per plant will make growers more than happy.
